Solution Description:
Multimedia Recording & Casting System adopts the distributed architecture and includes Multimedia Recording & Casting Server and encoders. The figure above shows the typical networking mode in the videoconference system. The encoders, located in the front end of the system, are connected to the videoconference terminal. The encoders are responsible for collecting video and audio and VGA (double current) signals in the videoconference system. The encoders encode the collected signals and send the encoded signals to the Multimedia Recording & Casting Server in the background via the IP network. The Multimedia Recording & Casting Server can perform synchronously integrated recording, live broadcast and play on demand on the received video and audio signals and VGA signals.

The encoders may be categorized into the following two types according to the types of signals that the encoders can process:

(1) Video and audio signal encoder series: including AV Encoder and High-definition Encoder;
(2)VGA signal encoder series: including VGA Encoder and High-definition Encoder;
The High-definition Encoder may be used for encoding video and audio signals or VGA signals. Users may select the combination of encoders according to the type of videoconference system. For example, for the recording of a common videoconference system, user may select AV Encoder + VGA Encoder; for the recording of high definition videoconference system, users may select High-definition Encoder + VGA Encoder.

For the users deploying videoconference system, most of routine conferences are held locally, and the traditional videoconference systems are used only at the remote videoconference, and thus the expensive costs on the system only bring about low utilization ratio, with less user investment effect. Multimedia Recording & Casting System collects signals from the signal source directly and can be used together with videoconference system or for the recording& playing of local conferences, with more extensive using range and higher utilization ratio.

2. Low coupling design, not occupying any MCU resource and no disturbances on the operating status of the videoconference!!Enjoy using it without any worry!
Generally, when performing videoconference system planning, the overall system consists of core system and peripheral system. Taking the system stability and security into account, the peripheral system shall try to reduce the degree of coupling with the core system, thus insolating the faults. The recording& playing product belongs to peripheral system of the videoconference system. Multimedia Recording & Casting System employs the low coupling design between the videoconference core systems (MCU and terminal), not occupying any MCU resource, and the operating status of the videoconference system will not be disturbed even if the multimedia recording& playing system is faulty.

3. Recording of multiple signals in a combined manner!!Record comprehensively without loss of any detail.
It supports recording of AV and VGA signals in any combined mode, such as AVX1+VGAX1, AVX2+VGAX1, And AVX1+VGAX2, and can satisfy the requirements of synchronous recording of local images, remote images and double current contents in the videoconference. Thus it can record the live situation of videoconference in an all-round manner.
It supports recording of six AV and VGA signals maximally in any combined mode, thus meeting the requirements in more applications.

4. High-definition!!Present Every Detail, and challenge the visual limit.
The system supports recording of high definition signal of 720P/1080i. In combination with the use of high definition videoconference system, the system can record the field situation of conferences and instructions in a more clear and authentic manner, thus giving audiences wonderful visual effects.

5. Distributed!!Easy-to-deploy and flexible expansion
The system is designed in a distributed architecture based on IP network and implements splitting between signal collection and signal processing, making the system deployment and expansion more flexible. The encoder used for signal collection in the foreground can be installed in any one conference room, while the Multimedia Recording & Casting Server in the background can be installed in the equipment room. IP network-based communications are established between the foreground and the background, thus meeting the needs of recoding of conferences held in any one conference room.

The system adopts embedded operating system and private hardware platform designed in non-PC architecture, featuring stability and reliability, protection from virus and Hacker attack and convenient maintenance and management.

7. Powerful VGA signal recording capacity!!Make the processing of VGA signal freer.
This feature is reflected in the following three aspects:
(1) Flexible recording mode: It supports recording in hardware mode;
(2) High definition: It supports ordinary mode of 4: 3 and wide screen mode of 16: 9/16:10, thus satisfying the recording needs of various resolutions ranging from 640X480 to 1280X1024;
(3) High frame rate: The frame rate ranges between 1 and 30 frames per second, thus satisfying the requirements of recording and casting of the dynamic video on a computer screen.

8. Support cascading and network storage!!Large scale and capacity.
The system supports multilevel cascading between Multimedia Recording & Casting Servers, and recording and live broadcast can be performed under cascading condition. In the meantime, it supports network storage under iSCSI protocol. All these features strongly guarantee the large-scale and large-capacity applications of the system.

9. Client interaction and online user management function!!Break the tradition and the stream media is no long unidirectional, making remote training easier.
Traditional stream media systems are all unidirectional, but Multimedia Recording & Casting System creatively provides text interactive functions at the client end so that the user can chat while watching and propose questions timely. The introduction of interactive function can better satisfy the needs of instruction, training and lecturing. Meanwhile, the system provides abundant online user management functions such as online user statistics, roll calling and so on. It can easily organize remote training through Multimedia Recording & Casting System even without videoconference.
