The AV Encoder is a device used for the real-time transmission of the digital audio and video on the Ethernet. The AV Encoder adopts the programmable high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) that is designed for the multimedia processing in combination with the high-performance operating system and audio and video compression algorithm. This makes the image transmission more smooth and displaying clearer.

Standard MPEG-4 video compression format. Encoding bandwidth of 64 k to 4096 kbps is supported.
Standard MP3 audio compression format. 44.1 kHz sampling and 16 k to 64 kbps encoding are supported.
